Description
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas. The role ensures that all rooms meet the resort’s standards, contributing to guest comfort and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities
- Ensure bathrooms are cleaned and sanitised thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Ensure guest privacy and security while servicing rooms
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with cleaning of public areas when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantag
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks
- Positive attitude and team oriented approach
- Basic communication skills in English
